Regia Empire – North Elerd Region - Capital Merathia
-Year 1977 of the Mestya
The beautiful city of Merathia, capital of the Empire, in the centre of the city stands tall the royal castle, and in front of it a little pom glares like mesmerized by his beauty “Oh no! I have no time for this, I must communicate to his highness the news” says the pom to himself as he was rushing for the royal hall, upon opening the big gold coloured doors, he spoke with greate enthusiasm “Your highness, we made it, we made it! The neo steam generator is finished!” one man with a formal black dress shouted in rage “ How dare you speak with that tone to his Highness! Behave yourself!” this man was Gabriel Nasdaim, counsellor of the Imperator, “No need to scold him Gabriel, this is indeed big news, tell me Shaal how long until we can put to practical use the generator?” the Imperator raised from his throne and approached the pom named Shaal Deeren, the moment the Imperator was in front of him the pom knelled and said “A few months, maybe even less your highness” the imperator smiled “Then please don't let me waste your time, go back to your researches” the tone was gentle and kind, the eyes of the little pom where full of admiration “No time in your presence could ever be a waste your highness, it's only thanks to your help that my tribe is not constantly raided by the beastmens any more, we are forever in your depth, now excuse me i'll do as you wish and continue my work” Shaal bowed again and left the hall
“Why do you care so much for those things, your highness?” asked Gabried with a puzzle look on his face
“Ahahahaha! Care? Don't misunderstand Gabriel, i'm just using them, they can give me power, even more that I already have, the power of knowledge!” the expression and voice of the Imperator suddenly changed, there was no trace of kindness any more
“But...your highness, what we need more power for? Your Empire has no enemies, there is no one so foolish as to attack you”
“Your missing the point Gabriel, power is never enaf!” the eyes of the Imperator were scary, Gabriel was afraid to even ask more questions
“Anyway...I don't like the fact that the poms are so free, I want to be able to watch over them, but at the same time I don't want them to suspect anything...” the Imperator was lost in his thoughts
“Your Highness if you want to keep them under observation we can sent some shadow walkers to watch over them”
“No! That's too risky, I don't want to lose their trust...” the Imperator was looking on the Empire's map standing tall over the throne “I got it! An Island, i'll offer an island to them where to continue their researches without being disturbed, they trust me so no one will doubt, at the same time i'll put some guards on the island for their protection, the poms my be geniuses of engineering but they are simple minded they will never think that the guards are there to keep and eye on them”
“That's a brilliant plan your highness, but for what reason you want to watch over them? Shaal's tribe adore you, I don't think they will ever go against you”
“Shut up! I don't need to explain myself to you!” the truth was that the Imperator feared the knowledge of the poms as much as he desired it. A few months latter all Shasl's tribe moved to Brindik Island to the north of the Rogwel region, where they continued the researches on neo steam.

The Regia Empire - Intro
A long time ago, one Empire dominated all that eye could see, three continents, countless islands, and six differed races, the name of this Empire was Regia. I Glemas Heran, a humble historian, will show you the Empire before the dawn, at that time the last ruler of Regia was Imperator Grel Mestya, from the Mestya dynasty, the ones that founded the Empire. Our story will begin 10 years before the fall.

[6] Neo Steam – Guild Wars
Rope Isle – Iron Base
The next day both Dev and Dekas were completely recovered and together with the rest of the guild they decided it was time to take back the mine and give the elerds a payback, they moved quickly to Conviction town but from there only Dev left for the mine, she moved swiftly, for her alone was faster to infiltrate the defences, once in she used Lead Location, the strongest space/time spell, thought only to the elite Trackers, with this all the members of Signa Infero were summoned beside her, they were ready for a surprise attack.
“Get ready, this must be a lighting attack, if they fight back kill them, if they escape don't chase them, our objective is only the mine, ok?” they all nodded in unison “ok...Attack!” with the order given they all rushed out.
The moon was full that night, beautiful, maybe more that ever, engulfed in a malinconic silent, but, suddenly, that peace was broke by the screams and shouts of those fighting beneath it, blood started flowing like a river, the clouds covered the moon like a mother that didn't want to let her child see such horrifying sight, none of them wanted to retreat, was greed that made them fight?...no, in the mist of the fight they forgotten about the mine and the promised money, why did they keep fighting? Who knows, some of them were smiling, some of them were crying, or maybe it's more right to say that, this was they reason, this was for what they were born for, they fought and fought until the sun risen, like a prize for the winners.
“We won!” shouted Scarlet with tears in her eyes, four guild members, four friends where lost that day
“Congratulations!” a shout come from behind the trees
“Who's there???” a man came out of the woods, followed by others
“I'm Raphael, and this is my guild Oblivion from Rogwel, we too were given the task to take control of the mine”
“You too?...too bad we already took it, there is nothing left for you”
“Yes...I see that, your guild fought an admirably battle for it, but...” as he was speaking he took out his gun and pointed it at Scarlet “no one said we can't take it from you, i'll be kind, since you are from rogwel too, give it to us peacefully and in exchange i'll let you all keep your lives”
“YOU SON OF A....” shouted Celtic while he was getting up
“Stop!!” Scarlet put her hand in front of Celtic “Tell me...Was it Putaten who gave you the task of conquering the mine?”
“Bullseye! Your correct”
“And he didn't tell you anything about us?”
“Hmm...he didn't specify that it was your guild, but he told me that he didn't care which guild had the mine as long as they get the energy stones”
“I understand... do as you please, we are exhausted, can't fight any more, the mine is yours..”
All the surviving members of the the guild left the mine with rage on their faces, it all looked so pointless now, in the end they defeated their strongest enemy only to be stabbed in the back by the ones they called allies, after this event Signa Infero disappeared in the shadows, no one heard of it any more, a few days after that the Maestro of Maestros was found dead in his bedroom, no one knew who did it, only a scrap of paper was left behind with a message on it “ He became a disliked friend”. This was only the beginning of the Guild Wars, even today after fifty years guilds still battle each other on that ground which became known as the Blood Mine...

[5] Neo Steam – Guild Wars
Rope Isle – Iron Base
The gear pet teleported Dekas and Dev back to Iron base, once there dekas shouted “Someone bring a healer! It's an emergency!” upon hearing those words the guards moved to helped them go to the Healers Temple, soon after that Dekas fainted for losing too much blood, after a few hours he regained consciousness and found Scarlet and Celtic near him
“Dekas, what happened? Where are the others?” said Scarlet with in a worried voice
“We were ambushed by members of DoE while patrolling the area, Watter was killed and Dev heavily injured so I decided to retreat, as for the other ones I don't know”
“DoE? I knew it, so the elerds did the same thing the republic did” while they were discussing one of the Healers was checking on Dev
“Haw is she Healer? Will she make it?” asked Dekas while trying to get up
“Yes, you don't have to worry, the hit wasn't fatal it misses all the vital organs, she was lucky, but lost a lot of blood, anyway in a few days she will be back on her feet, you on the other hand got a pretty hard hit, all the bones in your right arm are smashed, if you didn't get here as soon as you did, that arm of yours will be useless now, with intensive healing twice per day you'll be healed in a week” saying that the Healer left to tend others
“Dam...a week inside here and i'll go crazy”
“Want me to cut that arm off and put a mechanical one instead, that will be faster” said Celtic with mad scientist type of voice
“Ermh...No thank you...” Dekas forced a smile but didn't last long, in his mind he sow again Watter's body on the ground lifeless “I'm sorry...I could not save Watter...” a solemn silent filled the room and no one dared to break it. The next day Scarlet left for the central mine while Celtic was trying to recover some information on the DoE guild.

At the mine all where worried, they didn't had news about Dev and the others since they day before, once they all heard the news from Scarlet their faces were a mix of emotions, sadness and rage, some of them wanted to hunt down the members of DoE but Scarlet calmed them down, such an action will have been too harsh, instead they decided to go on as planed and defend the mine, meanwhile Celtic managed to obtain some information, it seemed DoE moved in small groups and changed their position often to avoid being detected, on the following days there have been many guerrilla's attacks on the mine, luckily without any dead, but the tension was rising being the ones attacked and with the enemies fleeing before the chance of a counter attack put a lot of mental stress on the members of Signa infero, some of them didn't sleep in days, Scarlet had to make a decision, keep defending the mine or retreat to Iron Base and give the troops some rest, after a few more attacks the decision fallen on the last one, they retreated to Iron base and finally had some peace and time to reorganize, meanwhile in the Healers Temple Dev regained consciousness, she was confused and had no clue of what happened
“You sure took your time waking up” Dekas approached her bed smiling
“What?...Where?...”
“Calm down your in the Healers Temple in Iron Base, you were injured in the fight against those elerd and lost consciousness, I brought you here”
“...the last thing I remember is a cold and painful feeling in by back...” she was still confused, but slowly was remembering all
“Jeez... Your a pain, because you didn't pay attention to your surrounding and got hit, I too got distracted and almost lost my arm, luckily I managed to save us both”
“If i'm so much of a pain why didn't you left me there?” she smiled while saying it
“Well...Who do I give those ten millions back if you go die...” he looked away while screeching his head
“Where is Watter?” she was looking around in search for her
“...” he was looking down “Dekas?..” he risen his eyes looking Dev and shacked his head, she had a shocked face, then diverted her eyes outside the window “Goodbye...Watter...”

[4] Neo Steam – Guild Wars
Rope Isle – Iron Base
-year 1028
The sky of Rope isle is shadowed by a fleet of 7 Zeppelins all directed to Iron Base, the outpost of Rogwel in rope, once landed the whole guild of Signa Infero come out of the Zeppelins one by one.
“So Scarlet, what's the road to the mine?” said Dev while checking her bow
“Hmm...Let's see...” Scarlet took out a map from her pocket “First we take a balloon from this city to Arbritation town, and from there we take the canon to Conviction town...” she didn't managed to finish her explanation when a man holding a gun interrupts her “A canon?! Your kidding me, I won't be shot with a canon, what are we a circus?”
“Calm down Rag, it's perfectly safe, actually the canon invented by the crones is really a nice peace of engineering, I will really love to get the blueprints for it” said Celtic, the main Artefact Maker of the guild
“The shooter is afraid to be shooted? Ahahahaha”
“Shut up Mic, if I say I won't do it I won't, i'll be using my rider from arbritation to conviction, end of the story” shouted Rag with an angry voice
“Whatever, let's just move, from conviction we will use our riders to cross the volcanic area and finally reach our destination, be always ready for combat, probably we will encounter monsters and elerd guilds on our way” replied Scarlet with a pissed tone.
And so the whole guild started moving, after a few hours of waiting in conviction, Rag reunited with rest of the guild, and together they moved forward the energy stone mine, on their way they did only random fights with monsters, strangely no elerds in sight, finally after five hot hours of riding in the hellish volcano region they reached their destination, members of the crom race where already there working in the mine, they where the ones that found the mine but they'll gladly sell their loyalty to anyone, as long as no harm is done to them.
“Bzz...Bzz...Welcome the the...bzz...central excavating point of...bzz...the energy stone mine..bzz” a crom greeted them, they are survivors of an ancient race of part mechanical and part living beeings race almost disappeared from the rest of the world, only in Rope they still survive, they form the third faction in Rope, neutral, they work for both elerd and rogwel without distinction and refuse any kind of violence on them or on their territories.
“Yes, thank you, I'm Scarlet leader of the Guild Signa Infero, from now on we will take possession of the mine, all the energy stones are to be transferred to the dock 9 of the Iron Base”
“Bzz...Info registered...bzz...Transferring of stones will be done as soon as possible...bzz”
“Ok, the easy part is done, now we have to maintain the mine, we shall divide in groups and patrol the area, Dev, Dekas and Watter take the south side, Mic, Rag and Baka take the east side, Nico, Miin and Kubol the west side, to the north there is only mountains and after the sea so there is no need to patrol there, all the others stay here in case anyone manages to pass, I and Celtic will go to iron base to arrange the cargoes”
The night fallen and the area was awfully quiet while they patrolled the area
“I can't wait, for every cargo we send we will have one and a half million each, we will be rich in no time!” said Watter with a greedy spark in his eyes
“We will get one million each, the rest of the money goes the the guild bank, for the young recruits that didn't accompany us in this expedition and for the guild supplies, if we give all the money to you we won't even have food to eat” replied Dekas
“You can't really speak about money Dekas, if I'm not wrong aren't you the one that is always without money? Oh and I almost forgot, you still owe me ten millions, when will you repay me?” said Dev while laughing
“Ah, dam...i hopped you'll forget about that....” while the three spoke a group of elerds was observing them from the shadows, waiting for the chance to strike, then like a flash they attacked
“What is that noise?....Watch out, enemies!!!” shouted Watter
“Get back Watter, and summon your sabber!” the three of them where caught by surprise, in front of them they had one warrior and one paladin, the warrior rushed for Dekas and the paladin for Dev, thanks to her incredibly agility Dev managed to shoot a poisoned arrow to the paladin this poison slowed his reaction and gave time to Dev to take her distance, on the other hand Dekas was having a hard time with the warrior, a beautiful elf warrior, even thought her beauty was on par with her strength, every blow was heavy and Dekas hardly managed to keep defending himself while waiting for a chance to counter attack
“May I know who I have the pleasure to fight Miss?” asked Dekas with ironic tone
“....I'm Valeska from DoE, remember my face because it's the last thing you'll see” saying that she hitted with incredible force making Dekas fly several meters through the air, but he managed to block the hit with the sword, Dev on the other side had almost got the paladin when he retrated out of Dev's bow range, this made her a bit overconfident and didn't noticed that behind her Watter was lying on the ground dead, an assassin ambushed her while she was summoning her saber and was dead before she had the time to react, and now that same assassin was rushing for Dev, Dekas with the corner of the eye sow the assassin but didn't had the time to warn his friend, Dev was heavily injured and was lying unconscious on the ground
“You should never take off the eyes off your enemy in a battle!” said Valeska while giving a powerful blow on Dekas's right side, he managed to block the attack with his arm, but by doing so his right arm was totally smashed, dripping with blood he jumped back
“Dam it, this is really a bad situation, I think for now i'll have to retreat” saying that Dekas took out a venom bottle full of root poison and throw it at Valeska imprisoning her, and at the same time he took out a bottle of stun poison too, and throw it at the assassin near Dev, after he rushed near devs body and summoned his Gear pet
“Gear activate teleport, take us out of here!”
“Right away master, Teleport in 6...5...4...”
“See you another time my beautiful Valeska!”
“...2...1...Teleport activated!”

“....I'm Valeska from DoE, remember my face because it's the last thing you'll see” saying that she hitted with incredible force making Dekas fly several meters through the air, but he managed to block the hit with the sword, Dev on the other side had almost got the paladin when he retrated out of Dev's bow range, this made her a bit overconfident and didn't noticed that behind her Watter was lying on the ground dead, an assassin ambushed her while she was summoning her saber and was dead before she had the time to react, and now that same assassin was rushing for Dev, Dekas with the corner of the eye sow the assassin but didn't had the time to warn his friend, Dev was heavily injured and was lying unconscious on the ground
“You should never take off the eyes off your enemy in a battle!” said Valeska while giving a powerful blow on Dekas's right side, he managed to block the attack with his arm, but by doing so his right arm was totally smashed, dripping with blood he jumped back
“Dam it, this is really a bad situation, I think for now i'll have to retreat” saying that Dekas took out a venom bottle full of root poison and throw it at Valeska imprisoning her, and at the same time he took out a bottle of stun poison too, and throw it at the assassin near Dev, after he rushed near devs body and summoned his Gear pet
“Gear activate teleport, take us out of here!”
“Right away master, Teleport in 6...5...4...”
“See you another time my beautiful Valeska!”

A modest house with dark windows was the place where the pom escorted Scarlet
“My master is waiting inside” said the pom as he left Scarlet alone
Scarlet opened the door and prudently entered the room, she could not see anything inside, it was too dark, then suddenly a voice came from the shadows
“Miss Scarlet, i'm glad I can finally meet you”
“I can't say the same, show me your face so I can too have the pleasure”
A hooded man came out of the shadows, as he took off the hood Scarlet was shocked to find out that in front of her was no one else that the Maestro of Maestros, Putaten, she bowed to show her respect and said
“Sir, why did you summon me in such a place?”
“There was no other way, the thing I have to ask you is too delicate, and too dangerous to be spoken in front of all” said Putaten while taking out a piece of paper from his pocket “Look at this” Scarlet took the paper and started reading, then she suddenly stopped “A new energy mine?!” shouted Scarlet while reading “Yes, bigger and of higher quality that all our mines put together” Putaten was looking in Scarlets eyes, then he stopped for a few moment before continuing “There is a problem thought, that mine is located on neutral ground, neither us or elerd can touch it without breaking the Non aggression pact, doing that will result in a war, option that I don't even want to consider” Scarlet put the paper down and said “That's really problematic, but, Sir, what has that to do with me?” Putaten smiled “Not only you Miss Scarlet, your guild, you are our only hope, guilds are not related the the govern, guilds are independent so if by any chance you conquer the mine, no one can take us responsible for your actions”
“So you want us to do the dirty work for you, Mr. Maestro of Maestros?” a voice suddenly echoes in the room “Who's there!” Shouted Putanen “Show yourself Dekas” said Scarlet, and from no where a man appears, a shadow walker, warriors that can make themselves invisible to the naked eye “What's the meaning of this!” shouted Putaten while looking at Scarlet “Playing safe Sir, did you really expect for me to come alone on such a suspicious invitation? You can say that he's my bodyguard, but no worries Dekas is good at keeping secrets” Putaten was silent while looking at Dekas, then he said “Dekas? Your name seems familiar, where did I hear it?” Dekas smiled “Of course it does Mr., let's just say I've taken care of many disliked friends of the Republic, anyway today we are not here to speak about me, you had a job for Signa Infero, didn't you?” Putaten seemed pretty irritated of the way Dekas was speaking “Yes... about the task for Signa Infero, your guild must conquer the mine and send the energy stones back to Rogwel by ships with Rear land flag, this way you won't have any direct contact with the republic, and the elerd can't charge us for breaking the Pact, we already arranged ourself with Jarit, ruler of Rear, as for your compensation, you'll receive 20 millions for every cargo you manage to send us, does this sound good?” Scarlet was silent, absorbed in her thoughts for a few moments “Yes...almost too good to be true, I can't be harsh, i'll need some time to make a decision”
“Very well, i'll leave one of my men here, when you take a decision tell him, now forgive me but I have many things to take care, I hope in a positive answer” Putaten putted the hood on and left the house “Scarlet, you want to do this, don't you?”
“I don't know Dekas, from the way he said it, it sounds too easy, I hardly believe the Elerds will simply let us take the mine, even thought we won't have any direct contact with the republic, this is way too obvious, I can bet that the elerds will act in the same way as the republic is doing, and we will be facing other guilds for the mine” Dekas upon listening Scarlet's words, started laughing “Isn't that great? If they didn't do anything it will be a boring job, this just makes it more fun, let's do it, it's been a while since we faced some decent opponents” Scarlet shacked her head “Your helpless Dekas...but anyway your right, and on top of that the compensation isn't bad at all, let's go back and discuss with the others about it”

A pom in a black suit enters the tavern, he looks around like searching for someone, after a few moments he approach a table
“Miss. Scarlet? Leader of the guild Signa Infero?”
A young elf with a red dress turns around
“Who wants to know?”
“I was sent here on behalf of my master, he will like to speak with you about an important task”
Scarlet turns around, facing the other persons at the table
“What do you think guys? Doesn't this look a bit suspicious?”
“Suspicious? I don't think so, this smells like money to me, hehehehe...”
“If Dev says so then I think I'll agree to speak with your master, take me to him”
“Please follow me miss”

Intro
Rope and island full of energy stones, vitals for the advancing technologies, two nations fight for the supremacy of this land: The republic of Rogwel and The Kingdom of Elerd. After years of war both nations agreed on a non aggression pact, the energy crystals mines were equally separated among the two nations, the pact was respected until a few months ago, when a new incredibly and high quality mine of energy stones was found in the centre of the island, this caused a huge pressure on both nations, none of them wanted to break the pact and start a new war, but at the same time both wanted the new mine, the answer to this problem came from the guild master hall, they proposed, secretly, to both nations to utilize the mercenaries guilds to take control over the new mine, since the guilds are independent organizations the nations can't be considered responsible of their actions, and so it happened both nations secretly engaged guilds to take control over the energy mine...this was the start of the Guild Wars!
